One of the proud cinema makers in Kannada filmdom HD Kumaraswamy returns to small screen of his Kasthuri Kannada Television channel instead of making a film. He has kept aside ‘Hejje’ of Vyasaraya Ballal aside. Still has hope of making it.

As of now the prominent of all three fields of cinema HDK is very curious on ‘Kanakadasaru’ for his television channel.

Addressing the media on Wednesday night at Century Club HDK former CM, current MP stated that he is very fond of this ‘Kanakadasaru’ that is formally announced on ‘Kanaka Jayanthi’. This life sketch has everything for all walks of life. There are very human values and prominent things to imbibe. The youths of today could learn more from ‘Kanakadasaru’. Such a magnificent personality of our history is also with social transformation values in his ‘Vachanas’.

In my life I have imbibed a few from Kanakadasaru and other rulers of the past. When I was chief minister farmers did not come to road. I have extended the price for the sugarcane. Like how Ashoka Chakravarthy once said I missed the chances of going to people and solving the problems – I followed it going to the people. A king should not sit in the throne but he should live with the people principle is what I have practiced stated HDK.

On the raging controversy on Kanakadasaru – this television serial has nothing of that sort. We are just telling life sketch of ‘Kanakadasaru’ he says.

For Kasthuri television channel I would like to make it No.1 by giving good quality programs from 2014. TRP and Quality together is my motto says HDK a shrewd maker in mass media.
